King British Algae Guard 100ml

King British Algae Guard is a naturally derived, eco-friendly product for the control of Algae aquariums. It is produced from organically-grown Barley straw. When algae takes hold in an aquarium, not only is it unsightly, but it can also be lethal to fish as it drastically lowers oxygen levels. Algae can also restrict the growth of beneficial oxygenating plants, thus disturbing the natural balance of the aquarium.

Use King British Algae Guard as a preventative algae treatment, if green filaments of algae are visible or if a green haze is visible on plants, ornaments and aquarium glass. Suitable for use in coldwater, tropical & marine aquariums. One 100ml bottle treats up to 400 litres of tank water.

  • How to use

Shake bottle well before use. Using the pipette (1ml) or cap (4ml) measure the required amount of treatment (5-10ml of Algae Guard per 20 litres of water). Dispense treatment directly into aquarium water. Continue filtration during treatment. Repeat treatment at 7 day intervals as a preventative/maintenace treatment. A 10% water change is recommended weekly.

  • Safety & Storage

Storage: Store the bottle in the outer carton, tightly closed and in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Do not allow contents to freeze. This material and its container must be disposed of in a safe way. See bottle for batch no. and expiry date.

Warnings: For use only as an aquatic algicide. For amateur use against Green Water algae and Blanket Weed in aquariums. Do not contaminate foodstuffs, eating utensils or food contact surfaces. Wash hands and exposed skin before meals and after use. Read all precautions before use.
